Compensation: $50,000 – $60,000 (based on experience)

About the Role

Terra Talent Consulting is hiring a CDL-A Flatbed Driver for a confidential client in the building materials industry. This is a local, home-daily opportunity transporting materials on a flatbed and ensuring safe, DOT-compliant securement.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A flatbed truck on local routes
• Load, secure, tarp, and unload freight using straps, chains, binders, and tarps
• Ensure loads meet DOT and company safety regulations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Complete delivery paperwork, logs, and ELD documentation (if applicable)
• Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers
• Maintain a clean driving record and follow all safety policies

Requirements (Must-Have)

• CDL-A / Class A CDL / Commercial Drivers License (CDL A) (multiple keyword formats for search)
• Current DOT Medical Card / Medical Examiners Certificate
• Acceptable MVR
• Ability to safely secure flatbed loads (straps/chains/binders/tarps)
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical job duties
• Reliable, safety-oriented, and punctual
